Congratulazioni a Jibran Qadri, del Gruppo di Geotecnica del Dipartimento ICEA dell’Università di Padova, che oggi, 22 luglio 2026, ha discusso con successo la sua tesi di dottorato dal titolo:
“Integrating Explainable Machine Learning and Remote Sensing for Landslide Susceptibility Mapping and Carbon Stock Assessment under Climate Change”
La discussione si è svolta alle ore 12:00 presso la Sala Donghi del Dipartimento ICEA.
La ricerca è stata sviluppata nell’ambito del progetto GRINS – Growing Resilient, INclusive and Sustainable, Spoke 6 – WP1, affrontando temi di grande attualità quali l’integrazione di tecniche di Explainable Machine Learning e Remote Sensing per la mappatura della suscettibilità alle frane e la valutazione degli stock di carbonio in un contesto di cambiamento climatico.

“Integrating Explainable Machine Learning and Remote Sensing for Landslide Susceptibility Mapping and Carbon Stock Assessment under Climate Change”
The defence took place at 12:00 PM in the Donghi Room at the ICEA Department.
The research was carried out within the GRINS – Growing Resilient, INclusive and Sustainable project, Spoke 6 – WP1, focusing on the integration of Explainable Machine Learning and Remote Sensing techniques for landslide susceptibility mapping and carbon stock assessment under climate change.
